Look at all those tiny little flowers all clustered together.
It’s been so dry for the last few months (which is almost unheard of in Scotland!) that the soil is all dry and crumbly, and the weight of the new season growth caused it to start falling over the other day. It’s now precariously tied up with string. Fingers crossed it survives OK!
But, look at my poor sage! What has happened? It’s started dying from the centre out :(. The thyme has started showing the same pattern in the last week. Anyone know what’s happened? Is it simply too dry? Stuff in beds doesn’t normally need watered. I’ve done so anyway, just in case. Quite sad about this, since it was all looking so good earlier in the summer.
